We are excited to see you all at the DISCIPLINE GAMES 2023 event and we can’t wait to show case our new arena. 

Venue:  DUE DROP EVENTS CENTER - 770 Great South Road, Wiri, Manukau, Auckland

INDIVIDUALS ATHLETES - 29th of April 2023

WOD 1 for females and Males Individuals - Kayak sprint will be held at the Vector Wero white water park  (Next door to the arena - Walking distance).

ALL Female athletes must register at 6am and meet at Vector Wero water park at 6.30am for athlete safety briefing.

ALL Male athletes must register at 7am and meet at Vector Wero water park at 7.30am for athlete safety briefing.

WOD 2 - Heat 1 for the females, masters and teens athletes will then head into the arena floor while the Male athletes will rest up until the afternoon. 

Registration will be open from 5.30am please make sure you’re on time so that you’re not late for your first safety briefing at the Wero water park. All athletes must fill out the wero waiver form at registration before the safety briefing (RED BLOCK - see below). If you do not complete this form, your scores will be ineligible.

TEAM ATHLETES - 30th of April 2023

WOD 1 for all TEAM athletes  - 200m raft down the river straight into a 150m Sprint to the finish will be held at the Vector Wero white water park (Next door to the arena - Walking distance).

ALL TEAM  Athletes must meet at Vector Wero water park at 6.15am for athlete safety briefing. The Novice teams will go first (7am) 

Registration will be open from 5.30am please make sure you’re on time so that you’re not late for your first safety briefing at the Wero water park at 6am. All athletes must fill out the wero waiver form at registration before the safety briefing (RED BLOCK - see below).

IF YOU DO NOT COMPLETE THIS FORM, YOUR SCORES WILL BE INELIGIBLE!

ATHLETES TO BRING:

A TOWEL & CHANGE OF CLOTHES FOR AFTER THE WERO “YOU WILL GET WET”. There are changing rooms and showers in the Wero building if you wish to shower afterwards.

A SKIPPING ROPE PROVIDED or you can BRING YOUR OWN

A GREAT ATTITUDE.

ATHLETE REGISTRATION WILL BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE MAIN ARENA WHERE THE ATHLETE VILLAGE IS - RED BLOCK (SEE SITE MAP)

ATHLETE ENTRANCE TO THE MAIN ARENA IN “ORANGE”

SEATED ARENA - This is a seated arena, there will be no standing up close due to the safety hazard of the LED screens on the floor. Parents with prams have allocated seating. Please let your support crew know.


Parking:  Please enter via The Main Gate next to The Ramada Hotel. Parking is pay by plate via the Inugo App which is free to download from the app store. $4.00 for the first hour and 50c per hour thereafter Please don’t leave any valuable items in the car. Take it with you. 

Athletes Village:  All athletes will have a designated area for tents and Gazebos which you can set up the day before at 3pm on Friday for Indivduals and Teams can set up 5.30pm on the Saturday.

Rehab Recovery Station - The Team from Rehab Co will be on site on the day to provide all your Physio needs so make sure you pop in and see them. (Pink block) There is also an EVENT MEDIC on-site.

COFFEE and FOOD: Eighth Continent Coffee and Chefs on Wheels will be on site for the day to provide you with your food and coffee fix. Vendors will be situated outside. (White block)

Hydration Bar: Will be located in the Foyer with their energy drinks such as Fitted, Kill Cliff, Water and other drink beverages.

Things to remember

  • Rubbish - whilst we have plenty of bins on site please remember to be a tidy kiwi, we will provide rubbish bags for your area at registration.

WARM UP ZONE – Our warm up area will be in the Athlete Village “You won’t miss it” Make sure you’re warming up 20minutes before your heat starts

ATHLETE WAITING AREA - We have a designated area where all athletes must be waiting 10 minutes before your WOD begins, Enter through Athlete entrance (Orange block on site map)

If you are not there on time, unfortunately you will miss out on that WOD. BE SHARP!!

Urgency is key. 

BE PREPARED!! This is a big one! Please KNOW the WOD before doing the WOD, remember your judge is there to count and check your movement standards are correct. The better you understand the WOD, the easier it is for our judges to do their job.

SCALING UP - If you or your team get scaled up to a higher division, then take that as a compliment, we pride ourselves in the experience, fun and the enjoyment of competing in a division where it’s even across the board. 

COMPLAINTS/DISPUTES - As you know the competition floor can be very competitive at times and our judges are only human.  If you feel like you were misjudged and have video footage to back your complaint, please make your way to REGISTRATION where they will take your details and one of our lead judges/team members will be in-touch with you.

PRIZEGIVING - INDIVIDUALS: Prizegiving for both Female and Male will be at 5:45pm at the end of the day on Saturday.

Female, Teens and Masters Athletes -  Feel free to stay and support our male competitors or you can head away and come back for prizegiving.
PRIZEGIVING - TEAMS: Prizegiving for Teams will be after the last Team event on the Sunday at 4pm.

SPECTATOR FEE - Individual and Team

Entry for spectators is $20+ BF online or $25 at the door - (CASH & EFTPOS NOT AVAILABLE, you must purchase your tickets online)

Children up to 16yrs old are FREE as well as Senior Citizens 65+

Individual Athletes supporting Teams must purchase a spectator ticket for the Sunday.

Team athletes wanting to support Individuals must purchase a spectator ticket for the Saturday.
