REP YOUR CULTURE 2024
We're thrilled to welcome you to the
REP YOUR CULTURE 2024 event. Here's the essential information you'll need:

Venue: DUE DROP EVENTS CENTER - 770 Great South Road, Wiri, Manukau, Auckland

Athlete & Teens Registration: Begin your day on time; registration opens at 6:30am at the DUE DROP Main entrance. Team captains or representatives can register teams with ease. Remember to bring information "Team Name, and Gym Affiliate" details. For those not registering with their team, wait outside the entrance until your captain provides athlete bands. Register together to avoid delays.

All athletes must register between 6.30am - 7.15am and you will pick up your Nation top when you register.

Athlete Briefing: All athletes will receive a briefing 15 minutes before your event begins in the marshaling area. Punctuality is crucial, as latecomers may miss the briefing.

NATION Village: All villages will be setup for you and we will have your Nation marquees ready to go. No need to bring a gazebo. This is a chance for you to hang out with your Nation representatives. Teams must provide their own mats and deck chairs for their area. (Team Thailand will be in the same Marquee as New Zealand)

Parking: Use the Main Gate by The Ramada Hotel. Please don’t leave any valuables in the car and pay for day parking.

Liquor ban zone in all external areas - The Due Drop Events Centre is proud to be an Alcohol & Smokefree venue. PLEASE NO CHILLY BINS WITH ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES! Security will be on watch.

Pacific Food Vendors: Get a taste of the pacific with 5 Pacific food vendors on site.

Rehab Recovery Station: Physio support from Rehab Co and sports massage will be available.

On-site event medic: Situated in the Athlete warm up area.

Coffee: Enjoy Coffee onsite nice and early from 6am.

ATHLETE INJURY and SUBSTITUTES during the event - In the case of an athlete sustaining an injury or being unable to compete on the day, their team will unfortunately be automatically disqualified. It is not permissible to substitute another athlete in their place. However, if a team wishes to continue with a substitute athlete solely for the purpose of completing the day, that is acceptable. It is important to note, though, that the score for the events in which the substitute participates will still be recorded as zero.

Additional Notes:

  • Help keep the venue clean; use provided rubbish bags.

  • The warm-up zone is inside, near the marshaling area. Arrive on time to avoid missing a WOD.

  • Be prepared; understand the WOD before you compete. Clear communication with judges is key.

  • If you have concerns about judging, present video evidence at Registration. (Main entrance)

  • Prizegiving will be on the main floor after the event.

Spectator Single day entry is $26.62 each online

Spectator 2 DAY Entry $43.00 each

Children up to 16 years and seniors 65+ enter for FREE.

You are welcome to attend the OCEANIA CUP Flag ceremony on the SATURDAY 17th (Day before the event)

This is totally OPTIONAL for you as I know some of you are travelling on the day but it would be amazing to see you there if you can make it. Dress in to your nation attire and bring your FLAGS!!

7:00am - Opening karakia in the ATHLETE VILLAGE AREA

7:20am - All Athletes must head to the warm-up area in preparation for the opening flag ceremony

7.40am - MC and DJ announcement for each nation. (3minutes per nation)

7.45pm - Flag ceremony. Order of Nation ceremony (Order based on number of athletes competing in the competition)

OPENING FLAG CEREMONY -This is a chance to dress in your Nation’s attire. Last year, we had teams proudly wear their traditional cultural attire and they all looked amazing! If you don’t have any, dress in the colours of your uniform.

Opening Haka - After the flag ceremony, Jarrod Tua from ‘Te Yard Fitness’ will lead the Tika Tonu haka. All athletes are welcome to take part in this haka to welcome the start of OCEANIA CUP 2024.
